1.How to distinguish between good and bad quality acrylic plate

Acrylic sheet qulity with good and bad, currently ,there are two series acrylic sheet on the market; one is a regeneration MMA monomer manufacturing acrylic plate (back feed plate), the other is pure new material MMA manufacture of acrylic sheet (new material plate), a new division plate superior quality material back version, the difference is as follows:

(A) Pure new material transparent acrylic plate:

      <1> excellent UV resistance, 5-year non-yellowing, loss of light will not fade;

     <2> The light transmittance of greater than 92%;

     <3> Section was transparent and colorless;

     <4> Resistance to cracking and excellent chemical resistance;

     <5> High quality and the protective film to provide adequate protection.

(B) Back to the material transparent acrylic plate:

     <1> UV resistance is very poor, up to six months will yellowing;

     <2> Transmittance less than 86%;

     <3> Section was yellow;

     <4> Easy to crack;

     <5> Protective film of poor quality.

2.Laser Acrylic processing and application

In the field of outdoor advertising and light boxes, laser acrylic engraving and cutting has a very wide range of applications. Acrylic engraving casting plate (commonly known as plexiglass) is a highly transparent amorphous thermoplastic material, is widely used in modern work and life, from infant incubator to the aircraft side warehouse, acrylic is always accompanied by scientific and technological progress of mankind.

Acrylic advantages:

     *High transmittance, low haze , easy vacuum forming;

     *Colorless, transparent, free coloring can significantly , weather, sun and rain do not fade;

     *Bright shiny surface toxic to humans;

     *Tough and hard texture ,excellent resistance;

     *Easy machining;

3.Laser Acrylic engraving 

Acrylic is the most commonly used material, it can easily be cut and carved, they have a variety of shapes and sizes, relatively low cost. There are two plexiglass production process: casting and rolling, laser engraving mainly used for casting way to produce the glass, because frost effect it produces laser engraving is very white, and produce original transparent texture contrasts, rolling fashion production after laser engraving plexiglass remains transparent, without a sufficient contrast effect. When buying plexiglass ,you asked to a high purity good one, or it may be have the phenomenon of melting material when carving or cutting.

4.Laser Acrylic cutting 

PMMA is relatively easy to cut, If customers do not ask, you can cut after delivery, without having to flame polishing. Otherwise, blowing means should be cut in order to improve cut quality. When cutting more than 8mm plexiglass, replace the large size of the lens.

Note: When cutting plexiglass ,operator can not leave, there may be a flame when cutting.

Laser acrylic Clean :After carving can use a damp cloth to clean the surface.

Coloring  :You can use acrylic paints, other pigments may undermine plexiglass finish.

 5.Acrylic laser engraving and cutting machine

Laser cutting acrylic ,usually there is a limit on the thickness of the material, less than laser tube 400 watts of power in general processing of material thickness in 40mm or less. 

that is the laser tube power decide the thickness of materials.
